Als Grundlage dafür dient ihnen eine Vielzahl von Theorien der Organisationspsychologie, die die Arbeitsmotivation als wichtigen Baustein der Leistungssteigerung von Mitarbeitern erforscht haben. Diese geben Handlungsanleitungen, um einen effizienteren Arbeitsablauf zu ermöglichen.
Eines Modell der Arbeitsmotivation ist das „Job features version“ von Greg R. Oldham und J. Richard Hackman. Im Folgenden werden anhand ihrer Theorie die Möglichkeiten der motivierenden Arbeitsgestaltung im öffentlichen Dienst untersucht. Als konkretes Beispiel wird Bezug auf die Deutsche Rentenversicherung (DRV) Berlin-Brandenburg genommen.
Im ersten Teil der Arbeit werden die Inhalte der Theorie von Hackman und Oldham geschildert. Im Anschluss folgt die Erläuterung ihres Messinstruments zur Feststellung der Arbeitsmotivation und -zufriedenheit − des „Job Diagnostic Survey“. Daraufhin wird die Theorie anhand der Fachliteratur kritisch hinterfragt.
Im zweiten Thementeil wird der Versuch unternommen, das „Job features version“ auf die DRV Berlin-Brandenburg anzuwenden. Dabei wird speziell auf die Kerndimension 'Rückmeldung' eingegangen. Es folgt eine Erläuterung der Bedeutsamkeit dieser Kerndimension und deren Ausprägung in der DRV Berlin-Brandenburg. Abschließend werden nach der examine der Rückmeldung mögliche Vorschläge zur weiteren Ausgestaltung dieser size dargestellt.
In der vorliegenden Arbeit soll untersucht werden, inwieweit die Kerndimension 'Rückmeldung aus der Aufgabenerfüllung' in der DRV Berlin-Brandenburg ausgeprägt ist, und welche Maßnahmen umgesetzt werden könnten, damit diese size stärker in dieser enterprise ausgestaltet wird.
